Do I need to buy car rental insurance from you?

If you are already covered by another plan, you do not need to buy insurance from us. Many car insurance policies also cover rentals, so if you already own a vehicle, you could be covered by your current plan. If you are not currently covered, we offer Collision Damage Waiver and other forms of insurance that will help protect you from any mishaps.

What is DEF?

You may have noticed a small charge for DEF on your bill. This refers to a special type of fluid that diesel vehicles consume called diesel exhaust fluid. Because this is something that customers cannot refill themselves, there is a $1 per day charge for the rental office to refuel. 

Can I rent a vehicle at one location and drop it off at another?

Yes, we have several locations throughout the state of New York so that you can conveniently rent a car at one location and drop it off at another. 

Why do I have to pay such high tax rates on my rental vehicle?

A passenger car rental tax rate of 11% is included on all rentals, no matter the type of vehicle rented, in addition to the sales tax rate.
