Whether you’re a freshman and new to campus or a seasoned veteran starting your senior year, starting the next semester of college requires a move. Moving to college is an exciting time and should be fun, not stressful. This year, instead of stuffing everything in the back of your car, rent a trailer to get it all done in one easy trip, giving you more time for making new friends or catching up with old ones. Here are a few reasons to rent a trailer this fall, and Empire Rent A Car has just what you need if you’re in the Brooklyn, New York area.
Our trailers have low decks which make them very easy to load. They are also equipped with rub rails and heavy-duty B-rings, making it easy to tie down your belongings for a safe tow.
Most college students only have a couch or futon and several boxes, so a box truck would be too large, but a car or SUV wouldn't be large enough. A trailer is the perfect size for a college move, and we offer six size options for your convenience.
Enjoy the comforts of your own vehicle, if you have the proper hitch installed, while traveling to your new college home. You can listen to your own tunes and relax in familiar surroundings while your belongings ride safely behind you.
The weather during your road trip can be unpredictable, so an enclosed trailer will offer the best protection for your stuff. At Empire, we do offer a wide selection of open trailers that might be a good option if you are not traveling far and you are confident in the weather forecast.
Instead of spending too much on hiring movers or renting a big box truck from a rental chain, save extra cash for pizza by renting a trailer with Empire. Unlike other companies, we don't charge to rent by the mile. Instead, we charge by the day and offer several specials to save you even more.
Ready to make your move? Contact us at Empire Rent A Car today at (800) 750-8782, or make a reservation online. We also offer vans, cars, and SUVs so you can easily tow the trailer. Check our policies for more information about towing regulations.
